Summer has been quite busy for the team, focusing on games updates and development of new projects.
The process of converting the older SGS titles to the 1.5 engine continues, and after SGS Overlord on June 6th, we updated SGS Battle for Stalingrad and SGS We the People in July and August respectively. And on the 1st of September, SGS Fall Weiss will receive it, as well as a major update with more game content (new scenarios), additions, improvement and fixes (see the news on the game’s page or in our blog).
Work on other titles, such as the major update on SGS Nato's Nigthmare is also progressing (NATO is still scheduled for the end of this year) and over time the whole SGS collection will receive the 1.5 updates, while we also continue working on new content.
The next big game to release will be SGS Sealion, a game offering you to play the hypothetical invasion of Britain by the Germans in the fall of 1940. See these two new screenshots taken during a recent playtest game.
The Steam page for the game is ready, here on Steam. Release date is set to September 25.
SGS Avalanche development continues, and we are now finalizing the Steam page.
The 2-3 extra projects that are in various stages of development are also progressing, more details in our next newsletter.

Hello, and thank you for your interest in SGS Avalanche. A great deal of player feedback—some of it contradictory—has brought certain bugs and balance issues to our attention. It’s always extremely delicate to make changes to the game mechanics, but we’ve tried to implement a few improvements and various fixes. Fixes (non-exhaustive list): Several regions have been adjusted (notably access …

Minor update (September 17, 2026) A small correction to the reinforcement schedule. A few minor adjustments to (slightly) reduce congestion, but—most importantly—Johnson’s Division of the Confederate II Corps will indeed arrive via the Chambersburg Road in the late afternoon of July 1st, rather than the Harrisburg Road.

The game has been announced for some time already, and few have been able to see it. One key reason is that it took us a long time to add the necessary code for this game (in particular code handling the behavior of non-player nations in the SGS engine). As an example, the screenshots herewith display some battle cases with …
