Latest news from SGS

SGS
This Fall we have two new releases: SGS Battle for: Fort Donelson, on November 7th, and SGS Battle of the Bulge on December 16th.

The first one is our first attempt at the US Civil War. The game has the latest changes of the SGS engine, including brand new changes on the UI that were discussed in the past months with key partners and players. If you like the Civil War thematic, the designer Vincent Bernard (a well-known military expert on the US Civil War) has more in store for you in the coming months.

On December 16th, the anniversary date of the last German gamble in the west 80 years ago, we shall release SGS Battle of the Bulge.

See SGS Battle of the Bulge description here. You can wishlist it here on Steam.

The game concludes our way to celebrate some of the key battles of 1944. After the great success of the SGS Overlord game on the Battle of Normandy, designer Vincent Bernard is bringing you the intense fighting in the foggy and wintery woods of the Ardennes.

In addition to our focus on those two new releases, we have kept moving forward on our games and improving them.

The summer success of SGS Battle for Shanghai is continuing, with Chinese players quite found of the title. We have brought to it new content twice since release, and designer Wang Wenqi is continuing putting research in it, as well as preparing our next project together (to be announced in 2025)

We also worked with other indie developers to get more feedback on our games, and their remarks, as well as players comments are including in our next games. A new and more streamlined UI is presented in SGS Battle for Fort Donelson and will be applied to all games as they upgrade.
The innovations brought in version 1.5 of the engine are also de facto in all the recent titles, and the older ones are progressively receiving it too (next in line is SGS Korean War).

Last, but not least, designer Laurent touchard (a.k.a. Aetius) is preparing a major update of SGS NATO's Nightmare for the beginning of next year... More in our next newsletter.
